It's that time of year again! I'm looking back and picking out my favorites that were featured on The Polished Hippy blog in 2018. Now, these are not all the polishes I loved in 2018, just ones that were reviewed on the blog and I have pictures of. And yeah. This is post one of four. I'm not a minimalist and I'm not even sorry. I like polish - what do you want from me? The first post is polish brand names starting with the number 3 and going through D. Click the name of the polish in bold to check out my original review! That said, let's get started!

3 Oh 7! Nail Lacquer Pumpkin Spice is from the brand's Fall 2018 Collection. It is an amazing bronze metallic with slight shifting elements. And it is even softly pumpkin spice scented, to boot! I love how reflective it is.
6 Harts Raspberry Ice is from the February Polish Pickup. I love how this is a super-opaque classic shade but with gunmetal shimmer for a unique twist.
77 Nail Lacquer My Dad, My Hero was a special Father's Day polish created by the maker's kids! This has such pretty crystal flakes floating in a slightly shifting, vampy shimmer background.
Alter Ego Good & Plenty was from February Polish Pickup. It can be used as a topper or a regular polish and the pink flash is super strong.
Anchor & Heart Lacquer Isn't It Ironic? is from the May Polish Pickup. I was really feeling the neon red-oranges this year and this polish is a great one! I am wild about the white and dark flakes that make this look like stone -but radioactive!
B Polished Nail Lacquer Bubblicious was from February Polish Pickup. This polish is not only a thermal and a holo, but scented!
Baby Girl Lacquer Mint2B is from February Polish Pickup. It is a tri-thermal and even though I am not much of a glitter person I love the depth and glitter mix of this and also that the glitter lays completely flat in spite of its size!
Bee's Knees Lacquer Sailor Neptune Sailor Uranus is from the November Fandom Flakies Box. This jelly with sister unicorn pee pigment really glows like crazy!
Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer It's Good was another of my beloved neon red/oranges! It is from the August Polish Pickup and features a lovely shifting shimmer and unique hue.
Bluebird Lacquer Shut Your Piehole was from the February Polish Pickup. Lou does shifting holos so well and this was a really nice, vampy one!
Blush Lacquers Pocketful of Cherries is exactly my kind of deep red, and combined with the aurora shifting shimmer and holo really was a highlight for me! It was released with the February Polish Pickup.
Bohemian Polish Sweet Kitty Woman was a special charity polish to support the animal care hospital that provided end-of-life care to the maker's beloved Cat. I love supporting a good cause and this tribute was simply gorgeous!
Cameo Colours Lacquers Mint Sparkle Lollipops was also from the February Polish Pickup. It has a gorgeous jade-like quality to it that makes it stand out in this color family.
Celestial Cosmetics Hippos Are Hungry was from the Back to the 80s Collection. I was heartbroken that Celestial had to stop trading this year due to the horrendous overhead of shipping from Australia, but this collection was a true highlight for me. Neon holos, particularly in warm shades, are really hard to pull off because the holo grays the color and makes it look muddy. Not the case here though! This is an unusual holo shade, and even a warm one, with a strong holo flame and bright tone! These are the best neon linear holos I have ever seen!
China Glaze 2Nite is from the OMG Flashback Collection. This collection has a special place in my heart because the original OMG Collection and its fine holo flame got me collecting polish again! 2Nite is one of my favorite kinds of periwinkle/blue/purple colors!
Chirality Polish The Velvet Death was from the February Polish Pickup. I am wild about the red flakes in a neutral background!
Colores de Carol Celestial River was from the Fall Seasonal Indie Box. It is an ultra bright silver holo of the type I never get over, and it has tons of shift as well. Simply stunning!
Colors by Llarowe Gumballs was from the February Polish Pickup. Colors by Llarowe makes some of my favorite glowing scattered holos and this is in a vibrant cobalt blue. I will always be in love with these polishes!
Contrary Polish Gummy Bears in Love is from the February Polish Pickup. I love vampy, dark reds, and the flakes and holo flakes make this a perfect one!
Crows Toes Nail Color Sweet Evil is from the February Polish Pickup. It is a shimmer with a special effect - it shifts warm at extreme angles and cool straight ahead. Very neat!
Crystal Knockout Sugar Geode is from the February Polish Pickup. I love the rock-like effect of the multicolored flakes in a pastel background!
Cupcake Polish Atomic pretty much has radioactive pizzazz! Good thing, as it is part of Cupcake Polish's Radioactive Collection. The shifting, crystal flakes in a jelly base glow with almost neon brightness.
Darling Diva Polish Skol! was from the Minnesota Nice Collaboration that released at Polish Con Minneapolis this fall. Darling Diva was one of the first indies I collected because of her amazing holos, and this one has both holo shimmer and flakes, along with a nice, metallic shift!
Dollish Polish I'm On a Curiosity Voyage...To Your Heart was part of the Stranger Love Box. The red glitters and multichrome shift pop out magically against a blue background with holo microflakes. I go wild for this finish from Dollish Polish!
