The last year got a bit away from me due to two months travel and some serious illness, but I am finally getting caught up on some of my backlog of photo processing. Whew! Today's post is the Essie Spring 2018 Bon Boy-age Collection, which is still widely available from online retailers. It has a nice mix of bright and soft cremes that are great year round. Let's have a look!

Essie Anchor Down 1161 is a dark queen blue creme. It covers in two thin coats and has a nice medium-drying formula.
Essie Stripes & Sails 1162 is a dark teal creme. It covers in one or two thin coats and has a nice, medium-drying formula. This one is very pigmented, so I recommend keeping it off dry skin. It doesn't stain the nail, though.
Essie Bon Boy-age 1163 is a celadon creme. It covers in two thin coats and has a medium dry time. This is a lovely, soft shade in this color family!
Essie Pass-port to Sail 1164 is a cool light beige jelly with faint silver shimmer. I wore it in four thin coats for maximum opacity but this is a color that will layer nicely anywhere from one to four coats - at one coat it is a lovely, shimmery sheer. It has a medium dry time.
Essie Perfect Mate 1165 is a pink-coral creme, shown here in two thin coats. This has a medium dry time and smooth formula. It dries slightly darker and pinker than it looks in the bottle.
Essie At the Helm 1166 is a fire orange creme, worn here in two thin coats. It is a beautiful bright shade that is pretty versatile and wearable for something this bright. The dry time is medium. It dries slightly darker and redder than it looks in the bottle.
