Marbles For Polish fall holos

I'm really excited to share the new fall holo collection from Marbles For Polish. First let me say I think this is a masterpiece, my favorite so far from Shannon's workshop!  Every single polish has a perfect formula and has amazingly rich shimmer in addition to the holo effect. They are all shiny even without topcoat, and opaque in two coats (though I used three very thin coats). You will not go wrong picking any (or all of these) out from the shop when they release on September 12.  Check them out after the break...

Ghost is a beautiful, ethereal green with a hidden surprise - it is a glow in the dark polish! Shannon had mentioned this, but I had completely forgotten when I went to photograph it. Luckily, I wore it as my mani for the next day, and as I flipped off the light to go to bed, I was quite shocked to see my glowing green nails! Well, of course, it is called Ghost! It also has a bit of duochrome effect to the shimmer. Linear holographic shimmer in a sheer, color-shifting pale celadon-to-turquoise duochrome shimmer base. Glows in the dark. Three coats.

Mandarin is a muted fall orange. It is just toned-down enough to be very flattering and wearable for my warm skin tone. The holo melts into the base a bit, so it is not quite linear, but nevertheless strong. Scattered holographic shimmer in a deep carrot orange shimmer base. Three coats.

Pictures can't quite do Noble justice. This is a green with blue contrast shimmer, and the brilliance of the shimmer tends to obscure the depth of the base in photos. It is strongly apparent in real life and has quite a nice effect. This is a complex, interesting polish. Scattered holographic and cyan shimmer in a dark sea green base. Three coats.

Scarlet is a perfect, intense, saturated red. The holo in this one also tends to be scattered but adds so much depth to the classic shade. One of the best reds I can remember using. Scattered holographic shimmer in a carmine base. Three coats.

I may have saved the best for last! Sentinel is a luscious purple linear holo that makes my nails almost cartoon-awesome - like someone airbrushed them on. This color definitely satisfies my love of vampy, shimmery holos. Linear holographic shimmer in a regalia purple shimmer base. Three coats.

You can snag them in the Marbles For Polish Etsy shop on September 12! Full size 15ml bottles will be $10. Are there any that you want to try?

  2. These are really pretty! I like how the holo is somehow soft :)

    1. I completely agree. They are at once linear or tightly scattered holo but not overwhelmingly flash. It gives them a sophisticated edge. I feel like Shannon really hit a stride with these as they are beautiful yet not like anything else in my holo collection.
