Literary Lacquers has two limited edition, special polishes coming at you on August 24 at noon MDT, available until September 8. This includes a new book club polish for the fan group Literary (&) Lacquers and the Birthday Polish. Let's look!

Literary Lacquers A Thousand Different Strokes of Light is the book club limited edition. It is a taupe with linear holo shimmer and blue-to-magenta duochrome iridescent flakes and microflakes. I wore it in three thin coats, but two might do. A single coat gives a lovely, sheer, neutral effect and there is no streaking at all - this one is smooth and even! It is a little on the thick side, but that is not very noticeable. The flakes made it a bit more intensive to remove than a standard polish but it was very manageable. I love how it is a nice neutral with a special flash.

Literary Lacquers Unspeakably Desirable is the birthday polish. Happy birthday, Amy! Bottles of this polish will be numbered. It is a coral linear holo jelly with copper, rose, and gold holo microglitters. Man does this have some flash! Perfect formula, with a very slight amount of texture that is easily smoothed with top coat. I wore it in three thin coats but two were enough. This was more challenging to remove due to the packed in glitter, but I did not have to soak it off or use a peel off base coat, so it should be fine for sensitive nails. If you want holo flash, this polish is for you! Here is what Amy had to say:
