I have a mega-post today of stamping fun courtesy of Moonflower Polish. Nadia recently released the Multichromes Collection comprised of five gorgeous multi/duochromes that work on their own and for stamping. I chose to use them all together and they were stunning this way with the changing shifts. Let's have a look!
First of all, formula notes: these all cover in one or two thin coats as regular polishes and have a perfect easy formula for that use. For stamping they are also completely easy-going. I had no issues picking up fine lines and complete patterns on the first try. Brilliant! I used all Hehe stamping plates for these pictures - it was my first time using them and they are some of the best-etched plates I have ever used - love!
Moonflower Polish Celes-teal is a teal-to-purple multichrome shimmer.
Moonflower Polish Hidden Rose has gold-to-blue multichrome shimmer in a muted rose base. This is brilliant and completely unique in my collection! The rose comes out more when stamped over white as shown in some of the listing photos here.
Here is Hidden Rose stamped over Celes-teal using Hehe 24 from the Japanese Comic Collection. This is a more subtle effect but I love it!
Moonflower Polish Mystique is a blue-to-magenta multichrome shimmer.
This is Mystique stamped over Hidden Rose using Hehe 37 from Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio Collection.
Moonflower Polish Selene is a purple-to-red multichrome shimmer.
This is Selene stamped over Mystique using Hehe 38 from Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio Collection. This is a feather pattern that in retrospect was a bit too big for my nails - whoops! It still had a pretty red flash at oblique angles.
Moonflower Polish Sirena is a green-to-teal duochrome shimmer.
This is Sirena stamped over Selene using Hehe 39 from Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio Collection. This might just be my favorite combo from the collection!
Moonflower Polish's Multichromes Collection are pretty much fool-proof options for multichrome stamping and it is nice they work so well for opaque manis, too. They are available now as a pre-order from Moonflower Polish's store and also at Lantern & Wren. They will be available in September at Nail Artisan in the UK, too! Have you ever tried a multichrome stamping polish before? What colors would you pick?
