It's almost time for another Polish Pickup! This concept store provides indie makers with a theme and lets them go wild. Customers can pick up all or only a few of the polishes, a nice departure from the polish box concept where you may end up with some polishes that are not your taste. The theme for September 2017 is Fall Foliage & Fun and the preorder runs from September 1 to 4. Mardi of Supermoon Lacquer made an amazing purple named for the Japanese Ghost Maple. Let's look at it!

Mardi chose this astonishing picture of the Japanese Ghost Maple for her color. This looks improbable, but the plant really is this amazing! Key elements are the shift of deep magenta and a more bluish purple, as well as a shimmery sheen.
Supermoon Lacquer Purple Ghost is a deep magenta with blue-to-red duochrome shimmer, purple pearl microflakes, blue/purple iridescent microglitter, and silver, magenta, and violet holo microglitter. It covered beautifully in two thin coats, dried quickly, and had no texture upon drying. Honestly, I would never have guessed the holo came from microglitter because it is so smooth! For all the glitter-phobics out there, do not fear this polish. It is really a perfect rendition of the inspiration photo as all the elements are there in one pretty package!
There are so many wonderful polishes in this month's Polish Pickup and purple lovers need to think about getting this one. It is a doozy! The pre-order runs from September 1 to 4. Are there any shades you plan to buy this month?
