The Soapy Chef Polish Pickup Rewind 2019 Review

My final Polish Pickup Rewind 2019 product this month is The Soapy Chef's Travel Candle Set. These two come together for the low price of $8 and they smell divine! These are available for pre-order from July 5 to 8. Let's check out the details.

The Soapy Chef Polish Pickup Rewind 2019

The scents and inspiration for these came from the January 2019 Mythology Polish Pickup, and are back in candle format. The candles are small and flat and come with a screw-on lid. The burn time is about ten hours, and might be longer if you burn them in shorter intervals. I recommend putting the candle onto a ceramic or heat-safe stone surface rather than onto wood or plastic furniture. You can also put them in a wax melter if you prefer it over candles.

Inspiration:  Inspired by the Lyra Constellation, and the love story of Orpheus and Eurydice. The constellation is in the shape of Orpheus’s lyre(harp). Orpheus went to Hades(hell) to try to win back the love of his life. His harp music was said to stop the gods in their tracks whenever he played. The lyre was placed in the sky by Zeus as a tribute to his music. This constellation also includes the star Vega, which is one of the brightest in the sky.
Description: For throwback month, I have decided to revisit the scent and inspiration from January 2019, but with a new product. The stars now have their own candle and don’t just sit on top.
Enjoy a set of 2 rich soy/paraffin candles. They are the perfect size to take with you on the go. Night sky is a dark blue sparkly candle that will remind you of a crisp clear night sky. It is scented with night-blooming tobacco flowers, bergamot, cedarwood, and has notes of bay leaf and fir needle. Smells like a crisp cool night.
Lyra is a gorgeous creamy yellow candle scented with a perfectly sweet and tart lemon scent. Pure lemony goodness.

Price: $8

Capped at 45 sets

The Soapy Chef Lyra Travel Candle is a pale yellow wax with decorative glitter. The scent is sweet and lemony with a rich, creamy body, perhaps a little bit like lemongrass. It is refreshing and clean smelling.

The Soapy Chef Night Sky Travel Candle is a cool-blue-toned wax with decorative glitter and a floral-spicy scent overall. This reminds me of clean, men's fragrances.

The Soapy Chef Travel Candle Set will be available from the Polish Pickup website from July 5 through 8. She will also have the Friends, Waffles, and Work Scoopable Wax from November 2018 in her own shop from July 9 to 31.  I personally love the scents in these candles - they are clean, fresh, and relaxing. Just what you need after a long day out of town!
