Sadly, earlier this year Dave of Octopus Party Nail Lacquer announced that he was closing the brand's Etsy shop. I have been a fan and customer of his polishes for years now, and I just refused to accept this sad news. Luckily my persistence in ignoring reality paid off and we are getting at least one more release, as long as Dave need to use up some of his stockpile of ingredients. Yay! These polishes are available until April 6 for order by joining his Facebook group, The Octosquad. I have the first three to show you today.

Octopus Party Nail Lacquer Apnea is a brilliant emerald green jelly with linear holo shimmer and green-to-purple duochrome microflakes. I wore it in four thin coats and it had a perfect formula. It is super-sparkly!
Octopus Party Nail Lacquer Grand Caiman is a murky olive green jelly with green shimmer, purple-to-green duochrome shimmer, and pink-to-blue multichrome flakes. I wore it in four thin coats and it had a squishy jelly look. I love shades like this!

No guarantees that Dave will really be back, but I hope he might occasionally release some goodies to the group because I don't want to live without more Octopus Parties in my life!
