Polish Con is coming right up and I will be sharing collections and releases that will be available there on Saturday, June 16. Great Lakes Lacquer is celebrating their third anniversary and will be launching the Water Colors Collection, inspired by things that can change the color of water. This is a fantastic and innovative collection - let's check it out!

Great Lakes Lacquer Bottom Shoals is an aqua jelly with red-to-green multichrome shimmers and iridescent flakes, along with scattered holo shimmer. I wore it in three thin coats and it had a great, quick-drying formula.

Great Lakes Lacquer Fading Day is a bright lilac jelly with red-to-gold multichrome shimmer and scattered holo. I wore it in three thin coats, and again, great, quick-drying formula.

Great Lakes Lacquer Moonlit is a light royal blue jelly with scattered holo shimmer, electric blue microflakes, and aqua-to-indigo shimmer and iridescent flakes. I wore it in three thin coats and it dries quickly.
Price: $12 at Polish Con, $12.50 online later
Great Lakes Lacquer Shell Reflections is a coral jelly with scattered holo shimmer and blue-to-pink multichrome shimmer and iridescent flakes. I wore it in three thin coats and it had a great formula.

Finally, Great Lakes Lacquer Sun Dappled blonde yellow jelly with scattered holo shimmer and red-to-green multichrome shimmer and iridescent flakes. I wore it in four thin coats (three will do) and it had a fantastic formula.
Price: $12 at Polish Con, $12.50 online later
This collection launches at Polish Con on Saturday at $12 each or $58 for the set, then online July 1 at $12.50 each or $60 for the set. Also available on July 1 will be the second chance at the Polish Pickup shade Glass on Fire. What flakie heaven! Pastel polishes are not always easy to do. They can be streaky, harsh-looking, or have difficulty with self-leveling or drying and the Water Colors Collection had none of those issues. There was a perfect balance between the opacity of the jelly finish and the effect pigments, so they are flattering, non-streaky, and glow without looking harsh against the skin. Wonderful execution and a great collection for pastel lovers! Do you have a favorite?
