I'm back with the second episode of my 2016 Favorites! If you missed it, Part 1 is here. This is my yearly compendium of favorite polishes featured on the blog. This is *mostly* in alphabetical order, but there were a few in this post I put in the wrong folder that should have been in the first post. Whoops and sorry! As before, you can click on the title of the polish to see the original review. Let's have a look...
*some polishes sent by the maker and others purchased*
Chirality Nail Polish Roanoke is a lovely blue holo that has contrasting red microglitters. This was such a unique and interesting combination for Independence Day! *sent by the maker*
Dream Polish Bubblicious was the first polish I have tried from the brand, and I loved the smooth formula and delicate mix of holo flakes and microglitters in a jelly base. *sent by the maker*
Firecracker Lacquer Stop and Smell the Blossom indeed is a firecracker of a polish! I can't get enough of my red jellies and the holo glitter in this one gives it such fire. *sent by the maker*
Grace-full Nail Polish Cherry Best Friends has the kind of glow I love in a red, plus metallic shimmer and holo. It is magical! *sent by the maker*
Great Lakes Lacquer Manna's Magical Masterpiece has the sort of complex shimmer Mariah does so well, in a beautifully squishy jelly base! *sent by the maker*
Londontown Lakur Best of British is everything I look for in an amazing foil - smooth formula, quick dry time, good coverage, and some complexity. This is a great choice for a gold foil. *sent by the maker*
Lavish Polish Golden Mermaid is one of my all-time favorites from the brand! The multichrome flakes and holo sparkle floating in the gold shimmer base make it truly look like pirate's treasure! *sent by the maker*
Le Polish Succulent Stargazer is a beautifully unique polish, with large silver flakes and pink shimmer in a milky green base. Divine and sophisticated! *sent by the maker*
Literary Lacquers The Edge not only has a gorgeous purple holo glimmer, but multichrome flakes for interest that pop out in different lighting situations. It's a stare-at-me polish, for sure. *purchased*
Lou It Yourself Bye, Felucia! has the kind of deep blue-purple color I gravitate toward, plus a splash of duochrome and holo. This is my kind of polish. *sent by the maker*
Love, Angeline I Thank God Every Day is everything to be thankful for in a green foil! It glows like crazy, is super-opaque, and has a spotless formula. Sadly, Love, Angeline will be leaving us in the coming year. *sent by the maker*
Marbles For Polish Love has such subtle delicacy, with glitters in a non-streaky white jelly base. I love the softness of it. *purchased with blogger discount*
Model City Polish Sunglasses at Night could not be more perfectly named! It has flash and glamour with an opaque black base along with scattered holo shimmer and microglitter. Sadly, 2016 is Model City Polish's last year, though thankfully Nina will continue her blog of the same name. *sent by the maker*
Native War Paints Don't Fett About It hits all the high notes for me - luscious, deep green, a touch of holo, and a divine red contrast shimmer. After all, the brand's contrast shimmers are not to be missed. Yes, please! *sent by the maker*
NeVermind Polish Princess Ozma is a gorgeous polish - smooth formula, brilliant emerald shimmer finish, and gorgeous formula! I there are more polishes like it in the coming year. *sent by the maker*
Northern Star Polish You Matter is a perfect, flattering work-safe shade with a twist. The various microflakes add a richness that take it to the next level. *sent by the maker*
Nvr Enuff Polish Raspberry Dreams highlights everything the brand is famous for - lovely holo and microglitters, great formula, and pizzazz! *sent by the maker*
That wraps up Part 2 of The Polished Hippy's 2016 Favorites. If you missed it, Part 1 is here. There is one more post to come in the series because there was so much to love with 2016's releases. See anything you also fell for in 2016?
