I have another polish from the Polish Pickup to share with you today, this one is Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Inlet at Dusk, inspired by Calanque (six heures du soir) by Lucien Levy-Dhurmer. The Polish Pickup is where a group of indies come together to create polishes on a theme voted in by members of the Facebook group Polish Pickup Pack. For the launch, which is a pre-order from April 7 to April 10, we have Famous Works of Art. The upcoming theme for May is Science. Let's have a closer look!

Calanque (six heures du soir) was part of a set of six pictures of inlets painted at different times in the day by Lucien Levy-Dhurmer - this one is a 6PM, with soft pastel colors. The painting was first exhibited at the French Salon of the National Society of Fine Arts in 1936.
Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Inlet at Dusk is a baby blue with scattered holo with pink to green duochrome microflakes and iridescent microglitters. The formula spread easily and dried quickly - there were a few little bits of microglitter that stuck together but nothing major. I wore it with three thin coats though two will do.
This is such a beautiful and ethereal polish - Julie captured the delicacy and magic of the painting perfectly. This polish will be available from The Polish Pickup for pre-order from April 7 to April 10.
