Glitzkrieg War Paint Joyeux Noel Collection: North Pole Set

The North Pole Set from the  Joyeux Noel Collection by Glitzkrieg War Paint brings to mind the snow, ice, and candy canes of the season. Check out the details after the break...

Arctic Snow is a white pearl frost that serves as a base for the set. This is most definitely a frost - straight brush strokes are needed for it to achieve its best look. However, it is so brightly reflective and pearly that the individual strokes are not very visible from a distance, but the brightness is. Really good formula and quick dry time. This is four ultra-thin coats. Oh, by the way, did you notice how the Glitzkrieg Girl on the bottle is wearing a santa cap for this collection? Adorable!

Santa's Workshop has large red candy canes, white matte microglitter, and translucent, iridescent shards. I made sure to put this bottle upside down for a day before using and was able to get quite a few of the candy canes to come out and play. They are very heavy glitters, so you will need to take care to get them out and place them on the nail. Since they are large, they work best lengthwise. This is four coats on its own with topcoat.

Here are both colors layered together, with one coat of the topper. I just chose to place a single candy cane on each nail. If you didn't like the candy cane glitters, the topper would also look great with just the smaller glitters and you could treat the candy canes like decoration, just to be seen in the bottle.

This set is available exclusively at Ella Ann Cosmetics and is priced at $11.
