It's time for the April 2022 Polish Pickup pre-order! This month the theme is Periodic Table and it opens for pre-order on Friday, April 1 at 11AM EST and runs through Monday, April 4 at 11:59PM EST. In case you didn't already know, Polish Pickup is a Facebook group and pop-up shop that offers monthly pre-orders of indie polish and crafts made to themes voted on by members of the group. I have the products from Anchor & Heart Lacquer, Great Lakes Lacquer, KBShimmer, and Pretty Beautiful Unlimited to show you this month!

Anchor & Heart Lacquer La Vue 2.0 is one of the PPU Turns 5! anniversary celebration polishes. This is a remake of the brand's original offering in April 2017. It is a lavender-pink creme-jelly with blue-green duochrome shimmer and a mix of glitter of different sizes in green, aqua, turquoise, and periwinkle. I wore it in four thin coats, but two or three will cover. It does need top coat to completely smooth, but is not super-textured.
Inspiration: This month was Art-themed. The painting Les toits de Collioure by Henri Matisse.

Inspiration: Niobium coin of the moon's surface. Niobium is a metal that takes on rainbow hues when heat-treated.

Great Lakes Lacquer The Colors of Cobalt: PPU April 22 is a periwinkle jelly with strong magenta/orange/gold multichrome iridescent shimmer and subtle holo shimmer. I wore it in four thin coats, but two will cover. It has a nice, fast-drying formula that needs top coat for shine.

KBShimmer Grand Finale is a blue-violet jelly with strong bronze-gold-blue multichrome iridescent shimmer and holo microflakes. I wore it in four thin coats, but two or three will cover. It has a great formula and quick dry time. The metallic effect of the shimmer is strong!
Inspiration: the metallic salts that contribute to the color of fireworks

KBShimmer Sweet Sangria Sugar Scrub is a 9.5 oz. highly-moisturizing sugar scrub. It has grape, berry, wine, orange, black plum, and pineapple fragrance notes.
