Supermoon Lacquer has just released the 8 piece Ready to Launch II Collection, a successor to the brand's debut, plus a special 5-Year Anniversary Polish. If you have not already tried Supermoon Lacquer, the brand offers really unique polishes in the indie sphere. The polishes are more opaque than most indies and can double as stamping polishes, and the mixes have many complex elements. The polishes all dry quickly and are not thick in consistency, meaning they are the ideal balance between opacity and texture. There are lots of shades for lovers of jewel tones, which is my favorite color type. There is a pre-order open through July 14. Let's have a look at these beauties!

First of all, formula notes, because these are all similar. They have a wonderful, fast-drying, opaque formula. They dry satin with a slight amount of texture if there is microglitter, but not much, and smooth easily with a single layer of top coat.
Supermoon Lacquer Alpha Pavonis is the special 5-Year Anniversary Polish. It is a teal with holo shimmer, cyan-to-copper, green-to-purple, green-to-red, and turquoise-to-purple color shifting shimmer; gold shimmer and sparks; blue and green pearl microflakes; iridescent green-to-magenta color shifting flakes; iridescent green/teal microglitter; and holographic silver microglitter. I wore it in two thin coats, but one will cover.
Inspiration: the brightest star in the Pavo (peacock) constellation.

I wore it in three thin coats, but two cover easily.

Supermoon Lacquer Compact Star is a scattered holographic red base filled with purple-to-red and violet-to-gold color shifting shimmer; neon purple and purple pearl microflakes; and holographic and metallic magenta microglitter. I wore it in four thin coats, but two cover - I just wanted to see if the color deepened at all with more coats.
Inspiration: the collective term for white dwarfs, neutron stars, and black holes

Inspiration: a hypothetical force carrier similar to the photon of electromagnetism but potentially connected to dark matter

I wore it in three thin coats, but two cover easily.
Inspiration: the dimensionless parameter of an astronomical object that determines the amount by which its orbit around another body deviates from a perfect circle.

Inspiration: dwarf galaxies with one single spiral arm and have an irregular appearance

Inspiration: the process where a large galaxy merges with another through tidal gravitational interactions resulting in a larger, irregular galaxy.

Inspiration: a disturbance on the Sun, which can affect the entire Solar System and is the cause of space weather with long-term patterns comprising space climate

I love the inspiration of this Supermoon Lacquer and the formulas are perfection! If you want an opaque, fast-drying polish, definitely check out the brand. The colors are also right up my alley.
