Baroness X Blue Moon Trio

Baroness X Acetone Antidote in Amortentia scent has blueberry and lavender notes. To me, it has an almost sweet, piney scent. Acetone antidote can be added to plain acetone to provide conditioning to prevent skin from drying out when you remove your polish.

How to use it: Add the entire vial (15ml) to 6-8oz of acetone. You can add more or less, these are just suggestions for optimal scent and protection from acetone.

(You may want to start with 4oz of acetone if it's your first time using the product and up your acetone to AA vial ratio from there. Some people prefer a stronger fragrance and more hydration.)

Ingredients: This acetone additive has glycerin and jojoba oil to help protect and moisturize your nails, skin, and cuticles during polish removal. The added emulsifier will ensure your mix actually stays mixed after shaking once prior to each use. Most acetone additives do not have this ingredient which causes you to have to shake the acetone bottle at least a few times during polish removal.

Baroness X Amortentia is a dark sky blue jelly with pink-to-gold multichrome iridescent shimmer and indigo/purple duochrome iridescent flakes. I wore it in four thin coats, but three will cover. It had a nice, fast-drying formula.

Finally, let's have a look at live swatches!

I love the idea of a color-themed trio with different depths and finishes. Each of these polishes was so nicely done with fantastic formulas. The Baroness X Blue Moon Trio is a available right now. In addition to individual prices listed above, the full trio with Acetone Antidote is priced at $36, without Acetone Antidote is priced at $32, and a mini set without Acetone Antidote is $21. Do you have a favorite? I am partial to navy blues, so Witching Hour is my bag!
