Rogue Lacquer has a new trio called the Cruel Summer Set, with three bright creme-jelly bases and mono-chromatic flakes. These kind of flakes are relatively new to the market and have such a fun, speckled effect! Let's check them out.

First of all, formula notes, since these are all similar. They dry really quickly and shiny, but will need top coat for full smoothing, as the flakes have a tiny bit of texture. I wore them all in four coats for maximum flakes, but you only need two or three to cover. Each is priced at $10.50, or $30 for the set.
Rogue Lacquer Girls Just Wanna Have Sun is a pale blue-purple creme-jelly with red flakes.
Rogue Lacquer One in a Melon is a celadon creme-jelly with red flakes.
Rogue Lacquer Tropic Like It's Hot is a brilliant rose creme-jelly with turquoise flakes.
Rogue Lacquer's Cruel Summer Set is available now. You can pick up each shade for $10.50, or $30 for all three. These are such fun shades with a great formula - the fast dry time means you a done quickly and on your way. I am partial to the red flakes, especially. Do you have a favorite?
