Whew! Blogger was having issues loading photos earlier but now I am finally able to start the fun for June's Polish Pickup! This month, the theme is Weather Phenomena and the shop is open June 7 at 11AM EDT to June 9 at 11:59PM EDT. The Polish Pickup is a Facebook group and pop-up shop that offers monthly pre-orders of indie polish made to themes voted on by members of the group. I am starting off with the two products offered by Anchor & Heart Lacquer.

Anchor & Heart Lacquer Hazy Bit of Light is a clear polish with a matte finish, copper shimmer, and orange-to-gold duochrome iridescent flakes. It is intended as a matte topper, but I wore it both on its own in four coats and over Anchor & Heart Lacquer Sea Smoke, the brands other Polish Pickup polish this month. This had a really nice formula and quick dry time. The wear on it was good. I'd say the matte has a satiny quality. It makes a nice product to use over bare nails for a subtle effect.
