Moonflower Polish Gemstones Collection Part 2 Swatches and Review

Moonflower Polish has released another set of their excellent holographic stamping polishes and these are every bit as good as previous ones. The Gemstones Collection Part 2 features five shades of shimmer polishes that strike a perfect balance between opacity and holo shimmer. Let's have a look!

Moonflower Polish Gemstones Collection Part 2

First of all, I will discuss formula, since they were all similar. These function beautifully as regular polishes and stamping polishes - I chose to feature them stamped over manis of other polishes in the collection. When worn as regular manis, they cover in one or two thin coats, are perfect, non-thick consistencies, and dry quickly. Pretty much a dream formula. The holo is blindingly apparent. As stamping polishes they pick up easily and are maybe slightly less opaque than a creme stamper. This is because in order for the holo to show, they have to have enough translucency for light to reach the holo particles. I feel these reach a perfect balance between holo and opacity for both stamping and regular manis. I can't recommend these highly enough! All of the stamping images in this post were from the Lina Nail Art Supplies Make Your Mark 01 plate.

The Moonflower Polish Gemstones Collection Part 2 (and Part 1) are available now for $12.50 at 15ml or $7.50 at 7ml. My bottles are 7mls and the brushes and size are great. The full sets are priced at $57 for 15ml or $34 for 7ml. These are pretty much perfect as both stamping and regular polishes and the holo is brilliant. These are as close to a perfect score as one can get in a formula. Do you have a favorite? I think mine is Zafiro
