Polish Pickup is back from vacation and the August 2018 theme for this release is Musicals! Polish Pickup is a Facebook group and pop up shop that involves indie polish and craft makers producing items based on themes voted in by the group. The shop will be open from August 3 at 11AM EDT to August 6 at 11:59 PM EDT. We are closing in on the last few items before the shop opens. Now I have Night Owl Lacquer's mysterious and vampy duochrome shimmer to show you. Let's check it out!

Night Owl Lacquer Music of the Night is a black-burgundy jelly base with turquoise-to-magenta duochrome shimmer, blue microflakes, silver and iridescent multichrome red-to-gold flakes. I wore it in three thin coats, but two will do. It has a nice, quick-drying formula and needs a single layer of top coat to smooth. It is inspired by Phantom of the Opera.

This mysterious shade is perfect for the inspiration! I have a lot of flake-finish polishes and there is nothing remotely like this in my collection.
