I've recently got to try out a variety of products in the Influenster Daisy VoxVox. This included some beauty and self-care items, along with a snack! Let's have a look at how these products stacked up...

I might be a rarity here, but I don't use tampons, only pads. So I was really interested to see that Influenster new my preferences and sent my the Always Infinity with FlexFoam 2 Heavy Flow. I have been an Always user for nearly 30 years now and usually alternate with their budget heavy flow pads and generics for lighter days. I had never tried the Infinity line and I guess I was expecting to just have my normal good results. Well, I was really surprised once I opened the product!
The pad is made of foam rather than the usual fiber material, and it is much thinner than even the usually ultra-thin pads. It is really much like a pantiliner, but with larger dimensions. When I put it on, it conformed much better to my body than the normal pads I use and never crinkled or moved. This was a huge change from what I am used to. The absorbency was sufficient even for the beginning of my period and I will be repurchasing these for sure.
Next up was Live Clean Coconut Milk Shampoo and Conditioner. I have been in a spell of having hair that is really tangly and also greasy at the roots on the next day after my wash. This combo really cleared up this issue for me - I am back to sufficient hydration without having greasy roots on my second day. The products are white and creamy, with a light, pleasant floral coconut scent. I really loved this for restoring my hair's balance.
Has Influenster been reading my mind? I have recently gotten into gummy vitamins since I can't seem to get myself to choke down regular horse pills. If its candy I can do it. Apparently I am not the only adult who is not an adult, as whole product lines have developed to cater to not-adults like me. I already had tried Nature's Bounty Gummies before, specifically the Hair, Skin, and Nails Gummies and now was sent the Probiotic Gummies to try. These are designed to aid in digestion. I can't really tell if they have done a lot in that regard so far, but I can say they are absolutely delicious! At least that gets me to take them regularly.
They appear to come in three flavors, all equally good fruit versions, and you are supposed to take two per day.
Next up, snack time! Skinny Pop Sea Salt Popcorn is a microwave popcorn product that comes in a pop-up box. You take the flat folded box and pull the tabs to make the sides come up and stick it in the microwave for two minutes.
I put mine in for two minutes and around 15 extra since I was still hearing fairly regular pops. When I opened the microwave, the popcorn had filled the box and was piping hot. According to the box, it contains three servings, each at 120 calories. I split the box over two snacks.
I was a little leery of microwave popcorn as I have hork-inducing memories of fake-butter popcorn that contaminated the air of my dorm and workplace. Never fear, though, Skinny Pop is not like those. This contains only popcorn, sea salt, and palm oil. It really tastes pretty much the same as when I pop corn in a pan with olive oil and add salt after. I was so glad to not get the popcorn goodness weighed down with artificial flavorings. I would say the salt level is quite light, not like movie theater popcorn. A+.
Finally, I tried Yes to Tomatoes Detoxifying Charcoal Paper Mask. I am really not much of a mask wearing type, so I geared myself up for this and during a particularly long call from my parents telling me about the latest feats of our family Doberman, tried this out. While I may have chuckled my way through the call, the mask did its work.
It is a black-colored paper mask well wetted with solution and it does not dry out for the 10 minutes or so recommended. It had no scent and tingled a little bit. After wearing it for around 15 minutes I had a bit of redness, but after removing the excess, somewhat sticky fluid, my skin was very soft. I have a feeling this is the kind of product that will help exfoliate with regular use. Check out my photo above for the full list of ingredients if you are curious.
That wraps up the Influenster Daisy VoxBox! I had fun testing these products and I would say they are largely hits with me. The Always Infinity pads I will be purchasing again for sure, and I will no doubt re-up my supplies gummy vitamins. Do you see anything here that appeals to you?
