It's about time for the Third Edition of the Anonamaker Collaboration Project. This box, hosted by Ellagee, pays tribute to the nail polish Facebook chat group Acetone Alley. The group has a feature where members can ask questions or make statements via an anonymous Suggestion Ox submission, which is then posted by the admin. Let's just say the whole thing can become no-holds-barred and result in some pretty hilarious moments and phrases. In the Anonamaker Collaboration Project, five makers contribute polishes anonymously with names inspired by quips and catchphrases in the group and customers only discover who made what polish when the order arrives. This month's contributors are Colors by Llarowe, Ellagee, Glitter Daze, Great Lakes Lacquer, and Supermoon Lacquer and boy did they knock it out of the park! The box, or individual polishes, are available for pre-order from March 3 to 13. Let's have a look!

The box comes with some snicker-inducing extras, in this case a few packs of salt to keep salty Anons satisfied, Sour Patch Kids for the sour Anons, a bottle of quick-dry top coat (Ellagee Glass), and a lovely polish magnet.
I received a circular blue glitter magnet, but the ones included in the box will vary in shape, color, and finish!
Anonamaker Limited Edition Go Home Anon, You're Drunk is a whisky brown linear holo shimmer with copper flash. This is shown here in two thin coats, but this might be a one-coater for many. I can't say enough great things about the formula or holo flash of this one! Everything about it is perfect and it is one of the best dark browns I have gotten in a long time. The name pays tribute to the times that a grammar, spelling, or logic-impaired Anon fires off a rant that inspires questions about the substances involved.
Anonamaker Limited Edition Girl, Bye! has holo flakes, purple holo microflakes, and copper scattered holo shimmer in a mauve pink jelly base. I wore it in four thin coats, but two or three will do. It can also be used as a top coat due to the translucency of the base. Perfect, quick-drying formula and so much flash! The name refers to moments when other Acetone Alley members aren't buying someone's comments or suspect an imminent rage flounce.
Anonamaker Limited Edition It's Apple Pie Mother F#*@&%! is a is a peach nude creme-jelly with red-to-green multichrome flakes and microflakes, along with scattered holo shimmer. I am wearing it in three thin coats, but two will do, which is amazing, since it is such a light shade and the flakes aren't covered at ally by the base. Great, smooth formula that works as a neutral with a kick. The polish was named for a post making fun of ridiculous secondary market buyers who don't read sellers' posts accurately and then ask stupid questions that were explained in the original post. Apple pie was used as the example in the satirical example.
Anonamaker Limited Edition Rage Flounce is an orchid linear holo with gold microflakes. Man, does this one flash and glow! It is shown here in two thin coats and has a great formula. The name refers to when someone decides to leave the group with a ranty flourish because just quietly departing doesn't have the flair one should aspire to!
Anonamaker Limited Edition No $h!t, Sherlock is a dark cerulean blue with turquoise-to-purple and blue-to-red duochrome shimmer along with rainbow microflakes and scattered holo shimmer. It has a nice quick-dry formula opaque in one or two thin coats. It is a tribute to the indie polish world's favorite British nail tech, Karl of Polishedprince_80, who gave himself the title while investigating shady bullshit to find the truth. This was my favorite name of all, since I adore Karl, and it had me giggling the minute I opened the box.
That wraps up the Anonamaker Collaboration Project Third Edition. The box will be available for pre-order at Ellagee's site on March 3 through March 13. You can pick up the full box for $50 or individual polishes. If you aren't already a member, I suggest joining Acetone Alley to witness the shenanigans. Like any group of enthusiasts, the nail polish world has its fair share of drama. Are you a member? See anything here that catches your fancy?
