Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer just released a new collection, Bubble, Bubble I'm in Trouble, and is starting the Depression Awareness Fundraiser auction with a special release. Let's have a look at the four polishes that came out this month!
*sent by the maker for photography and review*
He Has a Little Woman? is a forest green creme, opaque in two thin coats. The formula is great and dries quickly. This polish does have a little bit of "ugly bottle syndrome" with settling blue pigment that does not affect the performance on the nail. As a result, it is being sold at a discounted price.
It Reeks of Children is a neon red with iridescent microglitters and microflakes. It is worn here in three thin coats, two would be enough. This has a little bit of texture but can be smoothed with top coat.
Weirdos! is a royal purple with holographic glitters and flakes, worn in three thin coats, but two are enough. This is a sparkly stunner! It dries with some texture so you will need a couple layers of top coat to smooth it out.
My Head's Above the Rain is the Depression Awareness Fundraiser polish - it will be set up on Ebay as a Buy It Now listing. There are initially 20 bottles, but more may be added if it sells out quickly. It is a warm, light olive gray with silver shimmer and microflakes, shown here in three thin coats, but two will do. This is a stunning polish for any gray lover.
The new Bubble, Bubble I'm in Trouble Collection is available now on the Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer website, and the Depression Awareness polish My Head's Above the Rain can be purchased on Ebay.
