Lou It Yourself Polish Con 2016 Limited Edition Polishes Swatches and Review

I had the privilege of meeting, hanging out, and even shipping large containers of polish with the mastermind behind Lou It Yourself this past weekend at Polish Con 2016. Lou is even more hilarious, sparkly, and fun than you can imagine in person. And she makes a mean polish in addition to vinyls and bath and beauty products. I employed a discriminating methodology to deciding which of her Polish Con 2016 Limited Edition Polishes to buy. It is called the "Clean Sweep Method." I simply stick my hand on the shelf and sweep all of the colors into my bag to purchase. I will now share with you the results of my haul, since a couple of these are available as over pours right now on the site.

Jazz Fingers is a dark teal with scattered holo shimmer and violet-to-gold duochrome microflakes. I wore it in two thin coats, but it could easily be a one coater. In spite of the pigmentation, it does not stain and has a nice, quick-drying formula. It is pretty much a teal-lover's dream polish.

Wrath of Con is a dark plum with magenta and indigo shimmer and tiny gold holo specks. It is a two-coater with a nice formula. And the name cracks me up.

You Get a Polish is a sky blue shimmer with scattered holo and blue-to-magenta duochrome shimmer, worn here in three thin coats, though two would do. This is currently sold out, but I am not sure if it will be back in stock when Lou's wayward return shipments arrive.

While you won't get the pleasure of hanging out with Lou by buying these online, I can heartily recommend picking them up if you didn't go to Polish Con or if you missed them!
