Every year Amy of Literary Lacquers releases a special limited edition polish for her birthday - this year it is called The Edge, after a quote from Kurt Vonnegut's 1952 novel Player Piano.
I want to stand as close to the edge as I can without going over. Out on the edge you can see all kinds of things you can't see from the center.
Let's have a look at how Amy interpreted this!
The Edge is a soft lilac linear holographic with multi-colored iridescent flakes. It is worn here in three thin coats, but two would do. It spreads nicely and has a bit of texture due to the flakes that can be smoothed out with top coat.
I love the inspiration behind the polish - I feel that she captured, the wonder and mystery expressed in the idea of intellectual risk-taking. This polish is available until September 13 and every bottle is numbered. Be sure to grab it soon if you like it!
Literary Lacquers is made by Amy in New Mexico. A huge fan of books, her collections are inspired by a broad range of fiction.
