Octopus Party Nail Lacquer X Carpe Noctem Cosmetics Collaboration Duo Swatches and Review

Happy Christmas everyone! Hope you are having a good time if you celebrate. I am out visiting my father's family's homestead in Connecticut for the last time before it is sold. Speaking of Connecticut, I am in the home state of Octopus Party Nail Lacquer! And Dave has an amazing launch for us on Saturday, December 26 at 12PM EST. A quartet of Collaboration Duos! This is Octopus Party Nail Lacquer X Carpe Noctem Cosmetics. It's pretty nifty, so let's check it out!

Carpe Noctem Cosmetics Fireside Songs is a linear holo with red and green multichrome flakes in a duochrome midnight purple shimmer base that shifts to plum. There are added bits of larger, sparkly holo, too. This polish has ALL THE THINGS. Great formula, quick drying, etc. I love all the complexity going on here. Worn in three thin coats here, two are enough.

Octopus Party Nail Lacquer Steel Wolf is a battleship gray linear holo with darker gray flecks and larger holo sparkle. This is worn in three thin coats, but two are enough. Smooth formula - it does have a slight tendency to remain soft below the surface so I used drying drops for a full mani.
