I have two more creations from Fair Maiden Polish to share with you today - these both benefit charity and are available through the end of October via pre-order! One benefits the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation with a 25% donation of the sale price and the other sends 25% to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence. Want to shop for good causes? Join me after the break!
I Can-Cer Vive! has soft linear holo and blue-to-pink duochrome microflakes in a China pink shimmer base. This one is super-opaque and might be a one-coater for many people, but I chose two very thin coats. Great formula and dry time.
Love Shouldn't Hurt has soft linear holo and blue-to-pink duochrome microflakes in a lavender purple shimmer base. I wore this in three very thin coats but two would do. Very nice, smooth, quick-drying formula.
I thought I would post a bottle comparison between I Wanna Do Bad Things with You from the Fright Night Collection and Love Shouldn't Hurt, since they are both purple shimmer holos with flakes. As you can see, they are certainly different enough to buy both - I Wanna is a lot warmer and the flakes are pink-to-gold rather than blue-to-pink.
I can heartily recommend both polishes, especially if you love cool-toned pinks and purples! And the charity part makes it even better. Both polishes sell for $10.
Fair Maiden Polish is a Minnesota-based brand made by long-time friends Sarah and Adrienne. Beautiful presentation and creative finishes are their hallmarks.
