Celestial Cosmetics Cinders Collection, part 1, and LE June 2015

Celestial Cosmetics' June releases serve to remind me why it is one of my favorite brands. The ideas are beautifully executed and a couple are particularly fascinating. Today I have the first of two posts devoted to the Cinders Collection, inspired by Cinderella, and also the limited edition polish for June. More after the break...

Ashes to Cinders is a deep violet linear holo jam packed with pink and dark purple flakes. I love all the vampy holos Nicki makes! The finish and dry time is spectacular as usual and it dries shiny  - this polish really glows. I wore it with three thin coats but two is enough for most people. The abundant flakes tended to stick a bit on removal but it was nothing too bad - I just had to do an extra pass with my cotton wipe. This sells for AUD$12

Dame of Dust is one of those polishes that blew me away. It is completely unique and really interesting. There are silver shimmer flecks, periwinkle and red holo microglitter, and violet shred glitter in dark blue gray. It is shown here with three thin coats. It does dry a bit textured but I wore it with topcoat. This costs AUD$10.

Finally, there is the LE June 2015. Every month Nicki does a limited edition polish, and this time it is inspired by the birthstone Alexandrite, which changes color depending on the light. It has scattered holo, duochrome red/green microglitter, and duochrome blue/magenta flash in a dark pink-terracotta shimmery base. This was opaque in two coats but I wore it in three thin coats. This is also slightly textured so I topcoated it. It is priced at AUD$12.

I will be back with three more polishes from the Cinders Collection soon and they are pretty amazing! See any here you love?
