Bad Girls is a crimson jelly with holographic flakes, worn here in four very thin coats for maximum depth, though two would do. After many makers had problems with the flakes in this polish causing texture problems, she decided to reduce the price to only $5.50! I had no problems at all with this polish - it dried quite smooth, much more so than a microglitter and I am wearing here with a single layer of plump top coat. This polish is inspired by a perfect quote from the show - "Everyone knows that private school girls are bad. And Bad girls always wear red nail polish."

Copper Boom has copper holographic microglitter in a copper shimmer base, shown here in three very thin coats, though fewer would do. It has a texture due to the microglitter and is shown here with a plump top coat. It is priced at $9.50. Here is what Theresa had to say about the inspiration:

The name comes from the episode ‘The Lorelais’ First Day at Yale‘, where we are introduced to a new pop culture phrase: “Copper Boom.” At the start of the episode, Rory is packing her makeup, asking herself “When did I become one of those girls with dozens of beauty products, none of which are expendable? It used to be a touch of mascara, dab of Coppertone, zip, bam, boom, out the door.” However, Lorelai heard “copper and boom,” which they then turn into their own catch phrase.

I Will Follow is a royal blue linear holo shimmer, worn in three very thin coats, though two would do. This has a lovely, quick-drying formula with no brush strokes visible. It is priced at $11.

I Will Follow – the second line of the chorus to the theme song had to go to Rory. To me nothing could show Rory as well as a royal blue linear holo. Representing both Yale and Chilton Prep School I also had to acknowledge one of my favourite scenes from the TV series when Rory joins in with the Life and Death Brigade, a secret society at Yale.

I'm Smad has purple and gold holographic microglitter and purple-to-magenta multichrome microflakes in a violet base, worn here in three very thin coats. Fewer would do. It has a bit of texture due to the microglitter but a plump top coat nearly smooths it out. It costs $10.50.

The base colour makes Sookie’s Chef jacket when she says “I'm so sad. and I'm mad. I'm smad.” Coining a new phrase to explain what happens when you’re sad and mad all at the same time. It happens to the best of us.

I was thrilled with these colors and will be back tomorrow with the second half of the collection. These are available right now. Bad Girls will not be restocked and is being sold for a budget price, so be sure not to delay if you love your holo flakes! Part 2 of the collection can be seen here.
