Polish Pickup 1990s Grunge October 2023 Swatches and Review

Anchor & Heart Lacquer Thank You, Chris is a very deep violet with red-gold-green-blue multichrome microflake shimmer, black reflective pigment, and silver magnetic shimmer. The silver magnetic picked up some of the base color and appeared light violet when top coat was applied, an effect I liked. I wore it with four coats magnetized, but two or three will cover, and two coats unmagnetized. It looks like a grungy silver-violet foil when worn without a magnet, which is perfect for the grunge theme. I love that magnetic polishes can be worn two ways.

KBShimmer Come As You Are is a medium olive with blue-indigo duochrome shimmer and silver reflective particles that almost appear gold due to the base. I wore it in three thin coats, but two will cover. It is slightly thick due to the reflective particles but manageable. It dries with texture, which I smoothed with a coat of KBShimmer Smooth Moves and another coat of regular top coat. This definitely has the pretty-ugly look of a lot of 1990s fashion.

KBShimmer Pear Berry Sugar Scrub is a moisturizing sugar scrub containing 9.5 oz of product. The fragrance notes are pear, raspberry, boysenberry, blackberry, and apple.
