In case you didn't already know, Polish Pickup is a Facebook group and pop-up shop that offers monthly pre-orders of indie polish and crafts made to themes voted on by members of the group.

KBShimmer Fairest One of All is a navy with multicolored multichrome iridescent flakes and light green reflective particles. I wore it in two thin coats and it had a fast-drying formula. It has a lot of texture and needs a couple layers of top coat to smooth. I wore a layer of KBShimmer Smooth Moves Glitter Filler then followed with a layer of KBShimmer Free & Clear Top Coat, which is also glitter filling. I was able to remove it easily without peel-off base coat. This polish was super-sparkly and I loved wearing it! The inspiration, the Minnesota State Fair, is in the neighborhood I grew up in in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

When I was a child, our family would head to the Minnesota State Fair every year. Cheese curds, mini donuts, and other treats from the dairy booth filled our tummies. A ride down the big yellow slide was a must! My family checked out all the booths, gathering pencils and buttons from vendors until nighttime when the bandstand and talent show offered a reprieve from all the walking. The neon glow of booths beckoned us to play one game, ride one more ride, or grab one last corn dog before leaving. The State Fair was always the perfect end to our summers.
