Polish Pickup Monsters & Mythical Creatures October 2021 Swatches and Review

Polish Pickup's October 2021 pre-order is open Friday, October 1 at 10AM EDT through Monday, October 4 at 11:59PM EST. The theme this month is Monsters & Mythical Creatures. In case you didn't already know, Polish Pickup is a Facebook group and pop-up shop that offers monthly pre-orders of indie polish and crafts made to themes voted on by members of the group.  I have products from KBShimmer and Pretty Beautiful Unlimited. Let's check them out!

KBShimmer Rise Up is a blue-gray jelly with red-gold-green multichrome flakes. I wore it in four thin coats, but two or three will cover. It has a medium dry time and needs top coat for smoothness and shine. I love how firey the flakes look in contrast to the muted base!

KBShimmer Under the Sea Sugar Scrub is a highly moisturizing scrub with sugar particles for exfoliation. These come in a 9.5 oz jar, so it is big enough to use as a full body scrub. The scent is watermelon, cantaloupe, sugarcane, lily, orchid, ocean breeze, and white sand. Fruity and ozone notes dominate for my nose.

Ingredients: Sucrose, Olea Europaea (Olive) Oil, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Hydrogenated Palm Kernel Oil, Emulsifying Wax NF, Stearic Acid, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter) Fruit, Fragrance, Cetyl Alcohol, Phenoxyethanol (and) Caprylyl Glycol, Mica

Pretty Beautiful Unlimited From the Ashes is a black-to-red multichrome shimmer with black-to-red multichrome flakes, red and black holo microglitters, and purple-red-gold multichrome iridescent crystal chameleon flakes. I wore it in four thin coats, but two or three will cover. It has a fast dry time and needs a couple layers of top coat to fully smooth. The red shift on this one is super-firey! It is the ultimate vampy fall polish.

Pretty Beautiful Unlimited Sweet Fire Wax is a 2.5 oz. soy wax clamshell with smoke, clove, sandalwood, amber, patchouli, fruit, musk, leather, marshmallow, honey, chocolate, vanilla, and bourbon notes. To me it smells like fruit with nice bit of campfire/fireplace in the background.
