Alchemy Lacquers Double, Double, Toil & Trouble Collection Swatches and Review

Alchemy Lacquers has just done a major restock and this includes the Double, Double, Toil & Trouble Collection, first released last fall. Let's have a closer look!

First of all, formula notes, since these were similar. The glitter shades I wore in four thin coats over a peel-off base coat. They have a quick dry time and need a couple layers of top coat to smooth if you wear them as full polishes. These will also work as toppers in a single coat.

The shimmer and flake shades I also wore in four thin coats, but three will cover. They had excellent, quick-drying formulas. 

I'll start with a bonus shade that was limited edition last fall. This is Alchemy Lacquers Solute, the 7th Anniversary Limited Edition. This is a royal purple jelly with red-orange-gold-green multichrome iridescent shimmer. 

Alchemy Lacquers AB+ has a mix of red and black matte, metallic, and holo glitters in a clear base. This comes with an bag of extra black and red hearts to customize your mani.

Alchemy Lacquers Brimstone is a cool magenta (warm) to black-plum (cool) thermal jelly with red-orange-green-gold iridescent multichrome shimmer and multichrome iridescent flakes in purple-orange-red, red-green, pink-orange, and blue-purple shifts.

Alchemy Lacquers Fairy Wings is a cool baby pink jelly with pink-orange duochrome shimmer and iridescent flakes.

Alchemy Lacquers Franken-steen has has a clear base with white, olive green, kelly green, purple, and black glitters in a variety of shapes

Alchemy Lacquers Hellfire has red-orange-green-yellow multichrome iridescent shimmer, holo shimmer and red-orange-gold-green multichrome flakes. It can also work as a topper in one coat.

Alchemy Lacquers Hocus Pocus has a clear base with purple and lavender matte, metallic, and holo glitters, as well as a mix of other colors, in multiple sizes.

Alchemy Lacquers Toadstool is a teal jelly with red-orange-green multichrome shimmer, silver holo microflecks, and gold-green-lime multichrome iridescent flakes.

The Alchemy Lacquers Double, Double, Toil & Trouble Collection has just been restocked. I like that it has a mix of finishes and some of the polishes can be used as both full manis and toppers! I especially love the multichrome flake polishes, which Alchemy does magnificently!
