Colores de Carol Sweet Indulgence Collection Swatches and Review

Colores de Carol has just launched a new all-thermal polish collection called Sweet Indulgence, that pays tribute to some of our favorite sugary treats in the color selection. There are a nice variety of finishes for every taste, and they are available now and are priced at $11.50 each. Also, if you want to save 15% on these, join the group Colores de Carol and Friends on Facebook and search the term "code" in the search box for a special group-only code that doesn't expire! Let's check them out

Colores de Carol Sweet Indulgence Collection

Colores de Carol Banana Bread Pudding is a pale yellow (warm) to golden yellow (cool) thermal jelly with pink-to-green duochrome aurora shimmer, and gold and copper holo glitter. I wore it in four thin coats but it will cover in three. The thermal shift is the most subtle in the collection. This polish has a nice consistency and medium-fast dry time. There is some sinking of the glitters because Carolina wanted to make sure it wasn't too thick in texture, but you can put the bottle upside down if you want increased glitter payoff. There is a little bit of texture and it dries matte, but is shown here with top coat for shine and smoothness.

Colores de Carol Black Sesame Mousse is a light gray (warm) to medium gray (cool) thermal jelly with blue and magenta to green multichrome flakes, pink-to-green multichrome shimmer and green-to-blue duochrome shimmer. I wore it in four thin coats, but two or three will cover. Nice fast dry time. It dries satin-matte but is shown with top coat. Sorry for the suddenly shorter nails in the rest of the pics, but of course I had to have a bad nail break in the middle of swatching these. As you can see, they work nicely on short nails, too.

Colores de Carol Blueberry Cheesecake is a blue-taupe-gray (warm) to carolina blue (cool) thermal jelly with blue shimmer, red-to-gold duochrome shimmer, multicolored multichrome iridescent microglitter, and a tiny dash of holo microflakes. I wore it in four thin coats, but two or three will cover. It dries matte but is shown with top coat. The glitters have minimal texture.

Colores de Carol Mixed Berry Smoothie is a bright cool pink (warm) to bright amethyst (cool) thermal jelly with pink-gold-green multichrome aurora shimmer, and blue and hot magenta glitters in various sizes, some holo. This polish has some glitter sinking, because Carolina wanted to make sure the formula had the same consistency across the collection and was not too thick, but if you want more glitter payoff, place the bottle upside down before polishing. I wore it in four thin coats, but two or three will cover. Good formula and fast dry time. If you tap the glitters into the polish with your finger while it is tacky, there is minimal texture. It dries satin, but is shown here with top coat.

Colores de Carol Monster Cookie is a light (warm) to dark (cool) cerulean blue jelly with holo microflakes, silver holo microglitter flecks, and multicolored multichrome flakes. I wore it in four thin coats, but two will cover. It had a nice formula and dry time. It dries satin, and is shown here with top coat.

Colores de Carol Peach Cobbler is a white-pink (warm) to blush (medium) to bright coral-pink (cool) tri-thermal jelly with pink-gold-green multichrome shimmer and a mix of iridescent multichrome and multichrome flakes. I wore it in four thin coats, but two or three will cover nicely. Perfect, fast-drying formula. This dries satin and is shown with top coat for shine.

That wraps up the Colores de Carol Sweet Indulgence Collection. They are all available now for $11.50 each. Also, if you want to save 15% on these, join the group Colores de Carol and Friends on Facebook and search the term "code" in the search box for a special group-only code that doesn't expire! I like all the finish options in the collection, and the color shifts are so pretty. A highlight for me is Peach Cobbler as the shimmer and flakes with gradient coral base are spectacular and so unique. Do you have a favorite?
