Zoya Jubilee Collection Swatches and Review Part 1

Well, we are upon the last day of the year and it's time for me to share some new classics from Zoya! The Jubilee Collection launched this winter with twelve shades and I have the first half to show you today. Let's get going!

Zoya Jubilee Collection

Zoya ZP968 Astrid is a gold flakie foil with slight duochrome shift to green. I wore it in four thin coats, but honestly two or three are enough. It also doubles as a topper! It really has a mega-metallic punch! The formula has a medium dry time.

Zoya in Astrid can best be described as a liquid gold foil that adds a festive touch to any holiday look- wear as an accent or alone for optimum impact
Color Family - gold
Finish - Foil
Intensity - 3 (1 = Sheer - 5 = Opaque)
Tone - Warm

Zoya ZP977 Leigh is a peach-toned light nude that will be a match for light, neutral skin tones. I wore it in two thin coats and it had great coverage. The dry time is medium.

Zoya in Leigh can best be described as a full-coverage perfect winter nude - rich and warm cream with just a hint of pink to compliment any skintone
Color Family - nude, neutral, cream
Finish - Cream
Intensity - 5 (1 = Sheer - 5 = Opaque)
Tone - Warm

Zoya ZP964 Carson is a nude mauve pink that is a neutral on cool skin tones. I wore it in two thin coats and it had a medium dry time and great coverage.

Zoya in Carson can best be described as a full-coverage muted nude pink cream - a beautiful shade to create an understated elegance and perfect for the cold weather months
Color Family - nude, neutral
Finish - Cream
Intensity - 5 (1 = Sheer - 5 = Opaque)
Tone - Warm

Zoya ZP965 Taryn is a fuchsia jelly with blue-to-red duochrome shimmer. This is a jelly, so I wore it in four thin coats for maximum depth, but two or three will do. The shimmer jelly is a classic finish for Zoya and very rare now among mainstream brands. The translucency and shimmer give it a metallic sheen that is missing from more opaque shimmer polishes. This polish has a medium dry time and I recommend thin coats to aid drying and prevent bubbles.

Zoya in Taryn can best be described as a fiery fuchsia micro-irredescent shimmer with blue undertones - a shade that brightens even the gloomiest of winter days
Color Family - pink
Finish - Shimmer
Intensity - 4 (1 = Sheer - 5 = Opaque)
Tone - Cool

Zoya ZP969 Maxine is a raspberry red creme. I wore it in two thin coats and it has a nice medium-quick dry time. This polish is very pigmented and I recommend taking care with polishes to prevent flooding of the cuticle.

Zoya in Maxine can best be described as a full-coverage a rich red cream with an evenly balance undertone - bright, yet still appropriate for the season
Color Family - red
Finish - Cream
Intensity - 4 (1 = Sheer - 5 = Opaque)
Tone - Warm

Zoya ZP970 Allison is a light plum red creme. I wore it in two thin coats and it had a medium dry time. This is another mega-pigmented shade for which I recommend careful polishing to avoid getting it on the skin.

Zoya in Allison can best be described as a full-coverage plum-toned ruby cream - a more amped up version of a traditional plum shade
Color Family - pink, red
Finish - Cream
Intensity - 5 (1 = Sheer - 5 = Opaque)
Tone - Warm

Price: $10

I am a longtime collector and have almost all the polishes Zoya has made (with the exception of some in the first 200 introduced). I have been a huge fan for years because of the nice variety of colors and the care put into the different finishes. The collections are also available in sampler, including a group of the polishes in a clear, easy to store box, which has been one of my favorite ways to collect them. The polishes on this post are part of the Zoya Jubilee Sampler A, which is available on the site and from online retailers for $60. I am also an eternal fan of Qtica Half Time Drying Accelerator (from the parent company of Zoya, Art of Beauty), which speeds up dry time quite a bit and seems to cement the layers of polish together, meaning really great wear. I just got the 16oz. bottle in their last sale! I will be back soon with the second half of the Zoya Jubilee Collection along with a lot more from the brand!
