Something new and exciting is coming to online retailer Nail Whisperer at 11PM SGT on Sunday March 6 (9AM CST)! It's the beginning of a new series of exclusives by Carpe Noctem Cosmetics called The Inner Superheroine. Both Eugenia of Nail Whisperer and Emily of Carpe Noctem are strong supporters of women's empowerment and body positivity and these are being released in celebration of International Women's Day on March 8. First, I'll show you the inspiration images for the first three polishes. They have taken their names from this lovely message.
Brave Spirit is a lavender creamy scattered holo with holographic microglitter and silver flakes. It dries perfectly smooth and needs two to three very thin coats. Great formula, easy and quick drying!
Fierce Mind is a light battleship gray creamy scattered holo with silver flakes. Again, it is opaque in two to three very thin coats.
Kind Heart is an amaranth pink creamy scattered holo with silver flakes. I also wore this in three thin coats, though two might do. This dries a bit slower than the others, so I recommend a quick-drying top coat and/or drying drops. Otherwise perfect formula.
I also tried some nail art with these! For this mani, under the stamping I dotted all three colors on a stamper head and squished it on my nails. When that was dry, I stamped an image from Moyou London Suki 08 using Carpe Noctem Cosmetics Under Cover of Night an opaque black. This polish worked great for stamping with my Creative Shop stamper. For the accent nail, I made a decal in which I needle dragged Brave Spirit through Kind Heart to make mini hearts.
Next, I did some stamping decals using Emily de Molly EDM18 and colored it in using Fierce Mind and Kind Heart over a base of Brave Spirit. I loved how this turned out!
