Celestial Cosmetics It's All Happening Collection, part 1

Celestial Cosmetics is releasing the It's All Happening Collection later today with seven amazing shades inspired by the movie Almost Famous. This is a collaboration with the lovely blogger Christine at Serenity Nails. I will have two posts for this collection, the first after the break...

Does Anyone Remember Laughter features blue and purple microflakes in a periwinkle / Han blue jelly base. I'm wearing this in four thin coats. It has a soft, shimmery effect and could also be used as a topper. Perfect formula, as usual for the brand. It is priced at AUD$10.

Incendiary is definitely a wowza polish! This is a mega linear silver holo with silver flakes, worn here in three thin coats. If you are looking for a great-performing silver holo, you might try this one. It has wonderful coverage! It costs AUD$12.

Lady has periwinkle flakes and red shimmer in a tango pink jelly base, worn here in four thin coats, though fewer would do. I would definitely consider this a vintage shade with a twist. The base color reminds me of my treasured 30-to-40-year-old vintage polishes, but the periwinkle flakes bring it into the 21st century. It would look great on warm or deeper skin tones and tanned complexions. It retails for AUD$10.

I will be back very soon with three more shades from the collection. See any you like? I have to say I enjoyed all three of these and think Nicki and Christine did a great job! In additional to individual listings, for the first week you can pick up the full 7-piece set for a discounted price of AUD$70.20.
