Carpe Noctem Cosmetics is doing a release of small batch polishes that are being named by her Facebook fan group, Seize the Night. I was allowed to purchase all of them in advance to provide pics to the group. Let's check them out after the break.
1 (Faerie Fire) is a copper red frost with scattered holo shimmer. It was quite opaque, covering in one to two coats. It is not a fast drying polish so I recommend thin coats with even brush strokes.
2 (I'm Smelting!) is a copper frost with scattered holo and sparse color-shifting flakes and holo glitter. It has a formula similar to 1 and is quite glowy.
3 (Poseidon's Tears) is a dark midnight blue shimmer with scattered holo and numerous multichrome microflakes. I wore this with three thin coats, but it is opaque in fewer. I recommend thin coats to speed the dry time.
4 (Random Acts of Violets) is an antique fuchsia shimmer with gold highlights, blue and indigo microflakes and scattered holo shimmer. This is shown in three thin coats but fewer would suffice.
5 (Ten Thousand Suns) is a persimmon with scattered holo and gold holographic microglitter, worn in three thin coats. This one dries matte but I wore it with topcoat.
6 (No, This is Patrick!) is a hot pink with scattered holo shimmer and gold holographic microglitter. It is similar to 5 in formula.
7 (Meteor Shower) is my favorite, and luckily this is one that can be reproduced! It has turquoise-to-pink multichrome shimmer that is super sparkly with a strong shift in a slate gray base. I wore this with three thin coats.
