I'm continuing on with my coverage of the May 1990s theme at the Polish Pickup! This post is a double header, since Lollipop Posse Lacquer and Supermoon Lacquer teamed up to make a pair of Fresh Prince of Bel-Air polishes! Polish Pickup is a Facebook group and pop up shop that involves indie polish and craft makers producing items based on themes voted in by the group. Lollipop Posse Lacquer Born and Raised is a hot pink jelly with pink/blue duochrome microflakes, blue/pink duochrome shimmer, iridescent blue microflakes, and gold holo microglitter. I wore it in three thin coats and it had a good formula. It has a bit of texture but smooths out with top coat.

Supermoon Lacquer In West Philadelphia is a is a violet blue linear holo with purple to green multichrome aurora shimmer, gold/green and purple/green duochrome shimmer, violet, lavender, and gold microflakes, holo microflakes, holo gold and iridescent microglitters. It has a great, quick-drying formula that will cover in one or two thin coats.
Now this is a story all about how I just HAD to use the ultimate 90's sitcom as my inspiration - Fresh Prince of Bel-Air! Not only is this show an absolute classic, but it has probably the most well known theme song ever! Even people who haven't seen the show itself knows every word to the classic opening tune. So obviously I had to use part of it to name my polish. The color itself is inspired by Will Smith's colorful outfits he wears throughout the course of the show - specifically the yellow tank top worn over the bright purple t-shirt with matching baseball cap combo he sports in one of the early episodes.
