Great Lakes Lacquer Polish Pickup I Love the 80s! May 2019

Great Lakes Lacquer Paper Me Up is a white jelly with magenta-to-green multichrome aurora shimmer and red-to-green and purple-to-red large multichrome flakes. I wore it in four thin coats for maximum flakie depth. It had a nice, fast-drying formula and was not streaky.

Inspiration: Paper dolls - I love this as I had a whole collection of these as a kid in the 80s and loved them. The flakes in this polish remind me of the scraps left over from cutting the dolls and clothes out, which was so fun!

Price: $12.50

The Polish Pickup opens Friday, May 3 at 11AM EDT and the pre-order runs through 11:59 PM EDT on Monday, May 6. I have a bunch of great polishes to show you for the I Love the 80s theme, so stay tuned! This one has managed to hit the nail on the head for me as a kid in the 80s - I never made the connection, but yeah, nobody plays with paper dolls like we did! I had a bunch of ones for classic movie stars and movies by Tom Tierney. Did you play with paper dolls, or at least love you a mega-flakie crelly?
