Julie G Nails Spring 2017 Pack 1 Swatches and Review

Julie G Nails has some awesome deals for us, available until May 27! I have Spring Pack 1 to share with you today, along with some nail art!

Julie G Nails Bikini 70103 is a neon coral pink creme. This one faked out my camera, so my skin looks darker in in this photo - but oddly, this polish was so bright that it made my skin look like that in real life, as well! This polish dries quickly to a matte finish, but is worn here with top coat, Julie G Jet Set Quick-Dry Top Coat. This polish is highly prone to balding, so I recommend using soft brush strokes and floating your coats. I am wearing three thin coats here.

Julie G Nails Dream in Pretty 70115 is a pastel orchid creme. This dries a bit on the slow side, to a regular shiny finish. It is also prone to balding, so I recommend floating your coats. It is shown here in three thin coats.

Julie G Nails Tropical 70205 is a pastel turquoise creme. It dries fairly quickly to a matte finish, but is shown with shiny top coat. Like the others, this shade is prone to balding, so I recommending floating your coats. This is three thin coats.

These polishes were screaming for some nail art, so I tried making a chenille-look background with a dotting tool, then stamped over it with Moonflower Polish Noche using Born Pretty Store Plate BP-64. I then followed with Julie G Matte Finish Top Coat, which I received in my Polish Con VIP bag. Good news! It is a fantastic, quick-drying matte top coat which does not smear nail art.
