Powder Perfect Creme Polishes and Flawless Fortifying Base Coat Swatches and Review

I have so beautiful basics to show you today. Two safe-for-work creme polishes from Powder Perfect plus the brand's Fortifying Base Coat. Who doesn't love a good basic?

Principessa is a dark cotton candy pink with barely-there silver shimmer. It covered in two thin coats. The formula was very smooth, albeit slower to dry than most of the brand's polishes. I recommend this coats and quick-dry top coat with this one. I wore it with Powder Perfect's Lightning Lady Top Coat, which is a quick-dry top coat.

Rainy Days Call for Greige is a putty-colored creme worn here in two thin coats. The formula on this is wonderful and it dries shiny, though it is worn here with the brand's Chandelier Shine Top Coat. I purchased both this polish and the top coat during and sale and am glad I did. I love having a neutral shade like this that doesn't make my warm-toned skin look yellow.

I have also been testing Powder Perfect's Flawless Fortifying Base Coat for a month now and ready to share my results with you. It has helped tremendously with stopping my peeling and staining. While many strengthening base coats actually cause my nails to flake more and yellow, this one does not. I will definitely be keeping a bottle around and it really helped me build length and strength to my nails. It put a total stop to the horrific peeling I had on my thumbnail for much of the year so far. It is not a long-wear base coat, so I expect an average wear time from it. I did get better wear times using Powder Perfect's own top coats with this base coat, so it might be worth it to try them as a whole system.

Do you have situations where you have to wear only neutral colors? See any here you might like?
