Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer, Darling Diva Polish, and Northern Star Polish Destination Trio Swatches and Review

This month, the normal Destination Duo with Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer is actually a Destination Trio! The co-collaborators are Darling Diva Polish and Northern Star Polish. I am over the moon to see three of my favorite brands together, and two of them are from my home state, Minnesota! Let's check them out...

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer, Darling Diva Polish, and Northern Star Polish Destination Trio

Every month, the Destination collaboration has an inspiration picture. This picture was taken by Kristen of Northern Star Polish of Buckingham Fountain in Chicago. This is one of the world's largest fountains and is a total Chicago area landmark, built in the 1920s.

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Moon Glow picks up on some of the yellow lights in the pic. It is a yolk yellow jelly with rose, blue, and purple microflakes. I wore it here with three thin coats and it still had some jelly translucency. This was a little on the thick side due to all the flakes, but manageable and it dried quickly.

Darling Diva Polish Undomestic Diva is a raspberry purple linear holo with silver holographic microglitters. This is super-opaque and might be a one-coater for many people, but I wore it in two thin coats. The holo glitters dried very smooth. The polish was a little on the thick side, but perfectly manageable. The name refers to the opening of the sitcom Married with Children, which features Buckingham fountain, and the color of the lights.

Northern Star Polish Make a Wish is a stormy muted green-blue with turquoise shimmer and charcoal microflakes. The formula was silky and dried quickly. It is shown here in three thin coats, but two would do. I love the sophistication of this shade, which picks up on the sky in the photo.

This set is available now in all three shops for $30 including shipping (pro-rated shipping international). I was delighted with both the polishes and the inspiration! Any favorites here for you?
