In addition to the active ingredients, I was pleased to see a variety of very gentle ingredients I know work well with my skin. Glycerin always makes me happy when I spot it on a list, because it is a very effective humectant. This product is free of silicone-type texturizers, which also was a good sign for me, since those make me break out.
The product is housed in a one ounce squeeze tube. It is thick, but spreads smoothly. Since the packaging is a small size, it will pack well for travel and complies with carry on restrictions.
So how did it fare? I tested this product for a week and was extremely impressed with several aspects of its performance. First, immediately after application, my skin had a kind of airbrushed glow to it, but was matte. This carried through to the next day when I applied it at night. It definitely minimized the appearance of my fine lines, and due to how it made my skin look, I would say it is good to use on days when you want to go makeup free but still have a bit of polish to your skin. The product is intended to be applied morning and evening, but I found a single application at night to be sufficient.
Upon waking in the morning, I noticed some fine flakes to my skin, but these all came off with a quick swipe of a moistened facecloth, and my skin was smooth and hydrated. I also saw less redness than normal. There was a slight increase in blackheads around my nose and upper cheeks, so those who are acne-prone might avoid full facial application. There was no increase in milia, or white dots, around my eye area. That is a good sign, as those sometimes pop up for me when a product is too rich.
It is fragrance free but has a slight donut-y scent, perhaps due to the hydrogenated vegetable oil. I have to say I kind of liked this!

It was on sale for only $18.49, which is way less than I would normally expect for an anti-aging product.
I would say this was a great pick for me during the dry winter months - it might be too rich as a face creme for summer, but given we have cold temps at least half of the year, I'd say I will get some good use out of the product.
