OPI Nail Lacquer Starlight Collection Nail Art

I have three simple nail art looks to share with you today using some of the OPI Nail Lacquer Starlight Collection I received from Preen.me. I am a nail art noob and have pretty shaky hands, so if I can do these, so can you!

The first look I tried was a sponged on gradient.

1. Begin with a base coat such as OPI Nail Envy Nail Strengthener Original Formula.

2. Paint on two to four layers of OPI Starlight Nail Lacquer in Guys & Galaxies.

3. Paint over nails with a quick dry top coat, such as OPI Rapid Dry Top Coat and allow to dry completely.

4. Paint around the cuticles with a peel-off latex barrier, such as Glisten & Glow CTRL-ALT-DEL and allow to dry.

5. Paint thick, slightly overlapping lines of OPI Starlight Nail Lacquer in Ro-man-ce on the Moon, No More Mr. Night Sky, and Ce-less-tial is More on a wedge-shaped makeup sponge and blot onto the nail.

6. Peel off the liquid latex barrier and apply another layer of quick-dry top coat, such as OPI Rapid Dry Top Coat.

7. Clean up any stray polish with an angled eyeliner brush and acetone.

8. Finish with a quick dry top coat for shine and durability.

Now I have some subtle double stamping.

1. Begin with a base coat such as OPI Nail Envy Nail Strengthener Original Formula.

2. Paint on two to four layers of OPI Starlight Nail Lacquer in No More Mr. Night Sky.

3. Paint over nails with a quick dry top coat, such as OPI Rapid Dry Top Coat and allow to dry completely.

4. Paint around the cuticles with a peel-off latex barrier, such as Glisten & Glow CTRL-ALT-DEL and allow to dry.

5. Paint OPI Starlight Nail Lacquer in  Ro-Man-ce on the Moon onto the Bundle Monster BM-XL03 stamping plate pattern at the lower right, scrape, pick up with the Creative stamper, and stamp onto nail.

6. Paint I Drive a Supernova onto the Bundle Monster BM-XL03 stamping plate pattern at upper row, second from right, scrape, pick up with the Creative stamper, and stamp onto nail.

7. Peel off the liquid latex barrier and apply another layer of quick-dry top coat, such as OPI Rapid Dry Top Coat.

8. Clean up any stray polish with an angled eyeliner brush and acetone.

Next up is a blob manicure using two shades!

1. Begin with a base coat such as OPI Nail Envy Nail Strengthener Original Formula.

2. Paint on two layers of OPI Starlight Nail Lacquer in Ro-man-ce on the Moon.

3. Paint over nails with a quick dry top coat, such as OPI Rapidry Top Coat and allow to dry completely.

4. Paint around the cuticles with a peel-off latex barrier, such as Glisten & Glow Control Alt Delete and allow to dry.

5. Paint one thick layer of OPI Starlight Nail Lacquer in  Ro-mance on the Moon onto the nail and quickly add dots of OPI Starlight Nail Lacquer in I Drive a Supernova to this layer.

6. Peel off the liquid latex barrier and allow to dry.

7. Apply another layer of quick-dry top coat, such as OPI Rapidry Top Coat.

8. Clean up any stray polish with an angled eyeliner brush and acetone.
