MidWest Lacquer Top Shelf Lacquer Holiday Collection

First up is MidWest Lacquer Frostbite, a scattered holo with silver microflakes in a periwinkle base, shown here in three thin coats. I was totally blown away by this polish! It was my first experience with the brand and I immediately went to the site and picked out some more polishes to try. It is super-smooth, longwearing, and amazingly reflective.

MidWest Lacquer First Snow is the glitter topper in the group, but I also tried it out on its own as a negative space mani in four coats. It has matte white hex, circle, and snowflake glitters, along with lavender and gold translucent iridescent microglitters. I put the bottle upside down before using and was able to get quite a few of the big glitters. This polish is super-appropriate for me right now as we did have our first snowfall last Friday and it was a doozy! I love how the small white glitters in this really do look like a blizzard.

Top Shelf Lacquer Jingle Jangle Punch is an amaranth red linear holo jelly. This polish was perfect! I wore it in three thin coats, but two are enough. It has a great formula, quick-drying, and is so festive for the holiday season.

Top Shelf Lacquer Sugar Plum Spritzer has violet-to magenta and green-to-gold multichrome flakes in a blue-magenta violet jelly base. I wore this with four thin coats for maximum depth but fewer would do. It dries quickly and has a good formula. The flakes add a bit of texture so I recommend a smoothing top coat.

This is a really strong set for a great price and can recommend it wholeheartedly. I had already had great experiences with Top Shelf Lacquer but am excited to find a new brand to love in MidWest Lacquer, too! The set will be available for $40 and free shipping on Friday, November 27 in the Top Shelf Lacquer store.
