Carpe Noctem Cosmetics swatches

Carpe Noctem Cosmetics is running an amazing, totally rad, can't miss sale right now, so why not show you some of Emily's polishes? A few of the ones I have here are out of stock, but you can always see if she can make you something similar when she lists custom polishes again. Let's have a look after the break...

Sapphire Abyss is no longer in stock but I couldn't help sharing it anyway. This is a tricky, slightly duochrome antique violet shimmer. You can see in one of the macros that the highlights shift from blue to violet. How cool is that? This one was super-opaque and I wore it with two thin coats.

Sarah Jane's Smile is also another oldie but goodie. It features scattered holo and burnt orange shimmer flecks in a clear base, so it could be used as a topper or on its own. I wore it with four very thin coats. You can check in with Emily to see if it can still be made as a custom.

Scuttle is a white holo from the In the Grotto Collection. These swatches are of an early version that was really opaque, hence the holo isn't as visible in pics, but later versions are bit more translucent for the sparkle to show through. Nevertheless, it is an absolutely amazing, smooth white that had rock-solid coverage in three thin coats, which virtually never happens for me since I have very pigmented nail beds.

Seawitch is also from the In the Grotto Collection and is one of my all-time favorites from Carpe Noctem. It is an eggplant purple holo that just glows and has a spectacular formula that covers completely in two coats or thee very thin ones. I can't recommend this one highly enough!

Sebastian is another spectacular polish from In the Grotto. This is a linear super-holo in a metallic Persian red base. This one blew me away when I first wore it! It is shown here with three thin coats but covers in two.

South Haven Sunset is currently in the clearance section so grab it while you can! It works as both a full polish (shown here with four thin coats) as a topper. The blue microflakes in this have a golden sheen/highlight so it is really bright and reflective in real life.

See anything you want to try here? In the Grotto Collection polishes are $5 for minis, $7 for mediums, and $10 for full sizes. South Haven Sunset is listed at $9 for a full size bottle. Customs are $15 each for full size when they are listed. The best part is that you can can get anything in the shop for 35% off with code CLEARANCE35 through 3/31 with a $30 purchase! Why not stock up?
